I am a PhD student in Economics at Uppsala University. Currently, all my research projects revolve around gender differences. In one of my papers, I use novel data from an online matrimonial portal to investigate partner preferences and how different characteristics are weighted during partner search in the Indian marriage market. The goal is to assess the extent to which caste and demand of non-working women affect outcomes in the marriage market. This is important as these factors affect social mobility and labor force participation.

I love using mathematics and programming to understand how we can improve the world for a better tomorrow. Outside of work, I love strength training and enjoy reading books. I want to be able to deadlift 100 kg in the near future.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
